Speechless – A Personal Note from Fran:
I am not often left speechless but last Friday was one of those times, plus I was brought to tears and I never cry in public.
Let me begin by giving a HUGE THANK YOU to each and every one of you that donated to Operation Orphan Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc for the much-needed new trailer. As you may already know from watching the video James and Sherry Carnahan took, I went to Summit Trailer to let them know that we had reached our goal and I transferred funds from PayPal to the bank account. I told them that I would be in on Wednesday to pay for the trailer and pick it up on Thursday if they could have the added work done by then.
The next thing that took place left me in total shock and in uncontrollable tears. I was informed that the trailer had been completely paid off by a party that did not want to be known. It’s been almost a week and I am still processing this. Whoever you are THANK YOU. I would love to look you in the eye and say that face to face. For all of you that gave so unselfishly please know how much I THANK YOU and appreciate your support. Miracle, our education Red Fox, needs a new heavy-duty cage for in the trailer so some of your donation will go to that. We got the plates and paid any fees that was needed. I purchased 20 sets of d-ring anchors and 4 new ratchet straps to secure the cages and whatever goes in the trailer. I have also installed a soft rubber floor that will help protect the floor and help keep cages from moving and a lock on the spare tire so one steals it. Little extra’s that your donations have allowed.
Please know your money will be used wisely. Please know how much your support and love has meant to me. I could not do this work without your support. FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THANK YOU. ❤️Fran Kitchen
P.S. The pictures below show you what our old trailer looks like and how much nicer the new trailer is!
